WinneryNook's Gift from Heaven, Daisy, was our first toy poodle. She was aquired from a breeder in Highland to show, but unfortunately is just a little too big for the ring. While still a puppy she placed in the groups at puppy matches and many people that she meets comment on how beautiful she is. Her size doesn't stop her from being a wonderful pet and she has the most loving temperment. She's a very pleasant cream color with good pigmentation and very dark eyes. She's very calm and until she had puppies, she hardly ever barked. Usually she sleeps in bed with me, so when she has puppies is can be a little difficult to get her to stay with them. During that time I sleep next to the whelping box so she can go back and forth as she pleases. She is about 10 inches tall and usually weighs about 5 pounds.
WinneryNook's Head over Heels, Eaven, is the only surviving puppy from Daisy's first litter. She is a very light cream with excellent pigmentation, correct bite, straight legs, and a very happy temperment. I bred her as a show dog, but she broke her leg at seven months and I had to cut her down. The broken leg is slightly crooked, so she never made it to the ring, but she has one of the best pedigrees in the valley. She is shy at first, but if you bribe her with a lovely chunk of meat, she'll be your best friend. Since she was a single puppy, she has been overly spoiled and can be very demanding. She loves to play fetch and roam the country side with our larger dog. She is about 10 inches tall and recently hit the 5 pound mark.
